Help For Families

When a child has an emotional, behavioral, mental health challenges, developmental, intellectual or substance abuse, or juvenile justice issue the entire family is affected.

Parents and caregivers need:

Mission Statement

To facilitate empowerment of parents and caregivers of children with emotional, behavioral, mental health, developmental, intellectual, substance abuse or juvenile justice challenges through a community-based, family centered, culturally competent system of support, education and advocacy.

Our Team Members are empowered parents with children with various mental health, emotional, behavioral, developmental, intellectual, developmental disabilities or substance use challenges and have navigated the children’s system of care for many years. We are skilled in being able to provide valuable peer to peer support and assistance to families in need of services who are just beginning their journey through what could be perceived as a complicated system.

Family Support Organizations

Family Support Organizations (FSO’s) are family-run, county-based organizations that provide direct family-to-family peer support, education, advocacy and other services to family members of children with emotional and behavioral challenges.
